Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the nwra application ("app", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use nwra. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Not medical advice

nwra provides general fitness and nutrition tracking tools for informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any exercise or nutrition program, and especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are taking medication. You use the app and any plans, targets, or insights it generates at your own risk.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete account).

4. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

• nwra is offered as an auto-renewing subscription. Pricing and the billing period are shown on the subscription screen before you purchase.
• If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
• Payments are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the app for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems;
• upload content that is illegal or infringes the rights of others.

6. Intellectual property

The app, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by us and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your personal, non-commercial use. The data you log remains yours.

7. Third-party data

Food and nutrition information in the app is provided by Open Food Facts and is made available under the Open Database License (ODbL). We provide this information "as is" and do not guarantee its accuracy.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any injury or health outcome resulting from following plans, targets, or insights generated by the app.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
